As part of its ongoing efforts to promote financial inclusion and enhance financial literacy within local communities, National Microfinance Company participated in an awareness workshop held under the "Taqadum Al-Mal" project, implemented by Blumont International in Jordan and funded by the German International Cooperation (GIZ) under the IFIN project.
Branch managers from NMC in Hashmi Al-Shamali, Madaba, and Mafraq took part in the workshop by presenting an overview of the financial services provided to the program’s beneficiaries. They also engaged in discussions on the challenges related to accessing finance for small and home-based businesses—particularly those led by women—while promoting financial literacy and empowering participants to strengthen their business management skills.
The "Taqadum Al-Mal" project represents the second phase of the financial inclusion and integration initiative. It aims to empower 240 small projects through training, business assessment, and improved access to financial services, thereby enhancing the economic independence and self-reliance of targeted groups.
National Microfinance Company emphasized that its participation aligns with its vision of supporting developmental and community projects that contribute to sustainable development, and its commitment to collaborating with local and international partners in initiatives that aim to build a more inclusive and resilient economy.
