As part of Arab Financial Inclusion Week, National Microfinance held an awareness financial lecture at Yarmouk University for business students majoring in finance, banking, and economics. The lecture was presented by Mr. Ahmed Al-Hamouri, Director of the Initiatives and Non-Financial Services Unit. During the lecture, Mr. Al-Hamouri introduced the microfinance sector and its importance in enhancing financial inclusion, as well as discussing the concept of saving in general.

Mr. Al-Hamouri explained that microfinance plays a vital role in providing financial services to underserved segments of society, thereby improving their economic conditions and enabling them to achieve financial independence. He pointed out that financial inclusion aims to ensure that all individuals and businesses have access to financial products at affordable prices and in ways that meet their needs, including bank accounts, loans, and insurance.

The concept of saving was also addressed, highlighting its importance in building a strong financial base for individuals, helping them face financial emergencies, and better planning their future. He emphasized the need to educate young people about the importance of saving and early financial planning to ensure their financial stability in the future.
