NMC Participation in the 16th Annual Sanabel Conference

National Microfinance participated in the 16th Annual Sanabel Conference, which was inaugurated under the patronage of Dr. Adel Al-Sharkas, Governor of the Central Bank of Jordan, on Tuesday, May 14, 2024. The conference was attended by approximately 270 participants from 20 Arab and international countries.

During the conference, Mr. Rami Nasraween, Assistant General Manager of Operations, spoke in a session titled "Digital Transformation of Microfinance Institutions in the Arab Region: Results, Challenges, and Opportunities." Mr. Nasraween highlighted the importance of digital transformation in lending operations, noting that digitization helps improve operational efficiency and facilitates access to financial services for underserved segments. He also reviewed the major achievements of National Microfinance in this area, shedding light on the new initiatives and technologies adopted to enhance customer experience and expand service offerings.

The conference also featured the participation of several National Microfinance clients in the "Craft Projects Bazaar" corner, where they showcased products financed through microloans. This activity demonstrated the positive impact of microfinance in supporting small and craft projects, thereby boosting local economic growth and improving the living standards of beneficiaries.

This conference is considered a significant opportunity for exchanging experiences and best practices among various financial institutions and enhancing cooperation in the field of microfinance and financial inclusion at both the Arab and international levels
